Here are some simple ‘tricks’ to keep in mind.
- Pick a bright colored or light up costume.
- Only go to homes with lights on.
- Always trick-or-treat with adults or in a group.
- Never go inside a stranger’s home or vehicle.
- Always watch for cars, even in driveways.
- Set a curfew to return home and stick to it.
- This one is tough, but important! Wait to eat your candy until someone can check it out for you first!
